Saahasee translates to mean ‘being courageous and is a registered national NGO working for the development of the urban poor for the last two decades.  We are actively engaged in participatory community development among a total slum population of close to 500,000 people. Presently, we work in the slum communities of Mumbai, Thane, Bhiwandi, and Pune in Maharashtra. We also work in the resettlement colonies of Delhi.

Our main focus is on the sustainable empowerment of Women, Youth, and Children.
