What is Glad Rose?
Glad Rose is a social enterprise startup for upgrading the skills of hundreds of Saahasee Women Health Workers through professionally certified training. Our purpose is to provide citywide quality Health Care and related Services at Homes, Pvt. Clinics and Hospitals in the city of Pune and Mumbai. This service for urban middle-class families will extend professional support for their loved ones who are sick, infirmed, frail, terminally-ill and people who are physically or mentally disabled.
What is Glad Rose’s social purpose?
Providing employment to many vulnerable people is one of the main social purposes of Glad Rose. The second social intent is to train people from the slums by enhancing their employability skills, in order that they are relevant in the market and can procure jobs either through Saahasee or on their own. To this extent, we will have the training center within the slums and link them up to the National Skill Development Program. This will carry recognition and government certification and will also be applicable to the needs and required skills (both content and soft skills) demanded in the market.
